As the owners and designers of The Carriage House of Yorktown, we desire to host the most phenomenal weddings in our area. We want our couples and their guests to experience an amazing event! Top notch customer service is the foundation of our business. We are proud to provide a level of customer service and hospitality that exceeds our customers expectations and enjoy long term friendships with our couples and their families as a result.
How did The Carriage House start? We operated a family cattle farm since moving to Yorktown in 2008 from central Ohio. When our youngest daughter was set to marry, we had a meeting with a large catering company from Indianapolis who encouraged us to entertain the idea of transforming our farm into a wedding venue. After a couple years of consideration, we decided to go for it and opened the venue in 2017! It has been a labor of love and has grown more than we could have imagined. Along the way, we have listened intently to our couples, families, friends and team to make improvements each year. Every decision has been made to enhance the total experience for our couples and their families.
What is our favorite part of The Carriage House? Wow, the list is long. We absolutely love witnessing our couples vows. After a long relationship and all of the planning leading up to the wedding day- it is so satisfying to see their special moments. We love being present to see grand entrances, first dances and of course Horse and Carriage entrances! Every week is a new experience, there is never a boring moment!
Running a wedding venue is very hard work- 7 days a week. There are not too many ‘down’ days, but it is extremely rewarding. We are very blessed that so many couples have chosen The Carriage House!
